Important Information About Your Trip to the US

CheerTravel was founded in 2019 on the premise that making group travel plans should be easy and exciting. With extensive knowledge of the cheerleading, dance and travel industries, we specialise in providing a wide array of travel packages and services, tailormade to suit your group.

Firstly, thank you for booking with CheerTravel, we can’t wait to support you this season.

Please see below the information you need to know in the lead up to your trip.

It is your responsibility to check and fulfil the passport, visa, health and immigration requirements applicable to your trip. We can only provide general information about this. You must check requirements for your own specific circumstances with the relevant Embassies and/or Consulates and your own doctor as applicable. Requirements do change, and you must check the up to date information, in good time before departure.

If you are a UK passport holder, you can view the UK Government website here for US travel.

Alternatively, you can search all passport holder's entry requirements here.

US Visa

You will need to get a visa or an Electronic System for Travel Authorisation (ESTA) visa waiver to enter or transit the USA as a visitor. You should consult the US State Department website to determine which you will need.

Please apply here - https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov/ - as soon as possible to avoid any delays. Please follow the above official link or website through the gov.uk website (beware of rogue websites). The ESTA visa should be no more than $21 per application.

Travel Insurance

Every individual must have travel insurance, ideally before/soon after booking. Please see our 'Travel Insurance' page for more information.

Passport Validity

For the USA, everyone’s passports should be valid for the proposed duration of your stay. UK passport holders do not need any additional period of validity beyond this.

Non-British passport holders, including other EU nationals, should obtain up to date advice on passport and visa requirements from the Embassy, High Commission or Consulate of your destination or country(ies) through which you are travelling.

Vaccination Requirements

As of 12 May 2023, there are no COVID-19 vaccination requirements for travel to the United States. A pre-departure COVID-19 test is also not required.

More information available here.

Additional Requirements / Requests

We will do our utmost to cater for any special requirements you may have. If you or any member of your party has any medical problem or disability which may affect your booking, please provide us with full details before you make your booking so that we can try to advise you as to the suitability of your chosen arrangements. We may require you to produce a doctor’s certificate certifying that you are fit to travel.

Dietary requirements will be asked for at time of collecting all passport information. Whilst we will always pass these on to the airline, we do recommend individuals take additional food to cater where possible.
