Travel Executive - Leeds, UK with International Travel Opportunities

We have an exciting opportunity within CheerTravel for a Travel Executive in our Leeds office. Your role will involve creating tailored group packages for the Cheerleading community, offering in-destination support during travel and showcase our high level of customer service throughout.

About CheerTravel

CheerTravel started in 2019, with the vision to support programme owners, athletes, spectators and families with travel arrangements for international events. With a wealth of cheer knowledge and experience behind our team, we pride ourselves on offering a high level of service within an industry that we are so passionate about.

 

We work with leading suppliers and offer full travel packages including flights, villas, hotels, car hire, transfers, attractions, gym rental, cheerleading travel insurance and more. We operate from our Leeds based office, working with teams from the UK,Europe and the US.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Effectively performing administrative duties and follow processes accurately

  • Working with suppliers to create tailored group packages

  • Assisting with day-to-day administration

  • Build and maintain relationships with coaches

  • Support teams in-destination, including the US and Europe

  • Willingness to participate in and deliver training appropriate to own development

  • Attend cheerleading competitions (UK and international events)

 

Attributes and Competencies

  • Excellent communication skills and customer service experience

  • Must be a minimum of 21 years old and able to drive a car in the US

  • Attention to detail with accuracy in numerical skills

  • Competent IT Skills including spreadsheets and formulas

  • Ability to work as part of a team in a high-pressure situation

  • Must have a valid ESTA Visa / be able to obtain

  • Enthusiasm and positive attitude with a commitment to contribute to the growth of the business

 

Knowledge and Experience

  • Extensive knowledge of the Cheerleading/Dance industry. Including international events, teams, bid competitions and divisions (including bid processes).

  • Good organisational and time-management skills

  • Travel industry experience, with a good working knowledge of tour operator systems (desirable but not essential)

  • Understanding of GDS flight systems (i.e. Galileo) and group booking processes (desirable but not essential)

  • Good presentation skills

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Passionate about travel and tourism

  • Customer focused

  • Problem solving
