We're proud to have supported Cheerleading & Dance teams to travel to Barcelona for the past 4 years. Whether you're looking for a fun long weekend by the beach, or a city-based location, we can help tailor the perfect trip to suit your group.

Barcelona packages for 2025 are currently between £550-700 per person for a 2-3 night trip, price dependent on several factors listed below. We recommend booking as far in advance as possible, ensuring that you can secure the best flight and hotel prices.

Things to consider when planning a team trip to Barcelona:

Dates & Duration:

When would you like to travel, and how long for? From experience, the average team trip length is 3 nights, with durations ranging from 2-7 nights. Most teams travel out the Wednesday or Thursday, as flights are typically cheaper mid-week than over the weekend.

Accommodation Location:

Barcelona offers a diverse range of accommodations to suit every team’s needs and preferences, predominately hotels or apartments. Teams tend to focus on staying in either Barcelona city or a beach resort nearby (Lloret de Mar or Salou), depending on what they would like to get out of the trip.

Accommodation Standard & Room Types:

We can offer a wide array of accommodation types, including city apartments, holiday camp static accommodation, beach resort hotels and All-Inclusive hotels. Note that city hotels/apartments do not tend to be near the beach or have large pools (without an increased cost to reflect this!) - if you are looking for accommodation near the beach/with a large pool then we would recommend staying outside of the city.

Note: All of the accommodation types we work with in the Barcelona area require an over 18 in every room. Depending on the make up of your group, this could be a parent with their athlete, or a guardian in a 3-bedroom apartment. Please consider your group configurations when considering your accommodation preferences.

Coach Transfers:

We typically recommend coach transfers in Barcelona and the surrounding areas. We can arrange for coach transfers from/to the airport and between your accommodation, the competition location, and any extra arrangements (such as a training session or a theme park day). Note that we only offer coach transfers to teams booking full packages with us.

Travel Insurance:

Visit our 'Travel Insurance' page for more information. Note that we always recommend every individual taking out their own policy (so you're not taking responsibility for declaring medical history etc.)

A 3 day policy for an adult with TrueTraveller (with cheerleading stunting and tumbling included) is approximately £20.

Deposit Dates / Timeline:

Please note that we cannot hold any prices or availability for Barcelona without a deposit, therefore we will ask during our initial conversation when a realistic deposit date might be. For example, we may have an initial call to discuss options in May, but if you realistically can't commit to the trip until September, prices will be very different several months later. We will not provide a full quote unless you are within 2 weeks of being able to pay a deposit, due to constantly fluctuating prices. Depending on the airline we are quoting, the deposit may be between £100-400 per person (depending on the flight cost if it needs to be paid in full at time of booking, i.e. easyJet, Jet2, Ryanair etc.)

The initial deposit must be a group deposit/one payment. Further payments can be paid to CheerTravel directly by parents/athletes via our secure online payment portal. These can be paid in instalments, which you (as the lead name) can track via our app.
